Public Relations majors must meet the Baccalaureate Degree Requirements as set out in the General Education Program .
Incoming students must take COM 1113 - Public Speaking , ENG 1113 - English Composition I , and ENG 1123 - English Composition II during their freshman year. Students transferring to PBA after their freshman year must take these courses within their first two semesters of study.
* Students majoring in Public Relations are strongly advised to take their internship in the summer semester between their junior and senior years.
Students must choose 9 credit hours of electives from any of the courses below:
BUR 3163 , and PSY 3033 have pre-requisites that the student must first fulfill before the course can be taken for elective credit.
*A minor and 41-42 additional credit hours are required to meet the 120 total and the 42 upper-division credit hour requirements.
