• COM 2573 - Communication Theory & Research
• PRL 2803 - Foundations of Public Relations
• PRL 3123 - Writing for Public Relations
• PRL 4013 - Public Relations Strategies
• PRLV 4733 - Internship in Public Relations

Note:

Students majoring in Cinema Arts, Journalism, Sports Broadcasting or Theatre may undertake a minor in Public Relations. However, since these students are required to take COM 1033  and COM 3513  as part of their major, they must instead take an additional 6 credit hours of courses with the PRL or PRLV prefix to fulfill this minor. Of those 6 hours, 3 credit hours must be upper-division (3000 or 4000 level).  Likewise, Communication majors may also undertake a minor in Public Relations. However, since these students are required to take COM 1033 , COM 3513   and COM 2573   as part of their major, they must instead take an additional 9 credit hours of courses with the PRL or PRLV prefix to fulfill this minor. Of those 9 hours, 3 credit hours must be upper-division (3000 or 4000 level).
