Bachelor of General Studies

The Bachelor of General Studies Degree (BGS) is awarded upon completion of PBA’s General Studies Degree program. In addition to the Faith, Roots, and Reason requirements of 43 credits, a student must complete one (1) or two (2) approved General Studies meta-majors. As with all undergraduate degrees, a student must complete a total of 120 credits, 42 of which must be upper-level. In addition to the BGS meta-majors, a student may declare a minor.

The BGS curriculum allows an individual the flexibility to select one or more meta-majors to enhance professional or personal goals. Advisors offer personalized attention in career exploration and academic advising and discuss educational alternatives with potential students.
