Aim and Outcomes
The Master of Divinity and Master of Arts, Intercultural Studies dual degree program (MDiv + MAIS) is for students who wish to combine vocational ministry training with advanced theological engagement with pressing missiological questions in light of Scripture and the rich heritage of Christian faith and practice. Program Length
Dual degrees allow students to complete two degrees simultaneously with fewer credit hours required than if completing those degrees separately. Dual-degree students can complete the dual-degree requirements in three years (12 credit hours each semester, in addition to Summer courses). Admission
Dual-degree applicants must be accepted into each program independently. The MDiv + MAIS dual degree program is not available in the MDiv evening/weekend modality. Degree Requirements
All dual-degree students studying for the MDiv + MAIS dual degrees (93 credit hours) will complete the specified MDiv and MAIS courses. For the MDiv, dual-degree students will complete the integrated core (36 credit hours), MDiv ministry-training courses (15 credit hours), and biblical languages (12 credit hours). For the MAIS, dual-degree students will complete 30 credit hours of specified courses.
