Master of Accountancy and Analytics

The STEM-certified Master of Accountancy Analytics program at Palm Beach Atlantic University represents a progressive evolution of the traditional Master of Accountancy (MAcc). Designed to align with the 2024 CPA exam blueprint, this innovative program emphasizes data analytics and digital fluency—skills now essential in the accounting and finance sectors. By integrating key aspects of analytics and data management, the program not only meets current professional demands but also provides international students with the opportunity for a three-year Optional Practical Training (OPT), enhancing their career prospects in the U.S.

MAcc Degree Requirements


Students enrolled in the MAcc Analytics program must complete a total of 30 credit hours. This includes 15 credit hours in Analytics and Technology Core Courses and an additional 15 credit hours in Accounting Core Courses. MAcc Admission Requirements


In order to be considered for the MAcc Analytics program, you will:

  1. Earn a baccalaureate degree in accounting from a regionally accredited institution. Applicants with baccalaureate degree in another major will be considered with successful completion of foundational business courses (financial accounting, managerial accounting, microeconomics and statistics) and foundational accounting courses (Taxation, Intermediate Accounting, and Cost Accounting). If accepted, these courses can be completed as part of the program.
  2. Submit an official transcript from college/university where bachelor’s degree was conferred and from college/university where prerequisite courses were completed.
  3. Submit a current resume.
  4. GMAT/GRE Optional: the Graduate admissions committee may require GMAT/GRE scores if your bachelor’s degree is from a non-AACSB Accredited institution, or your GPA is below 3.0
