 “Expected student learning outcomes specify the knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes students are expected to attain in courses or in a program.” Page 69. Resource Manual for the Principles of Accreditation: Foundations for Quality Enhancement, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), 2018.  Articulate the various elements of story structure in moving pictures and apply that knowledge to a specific profession within the entertainment industry. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of redemptive storytelling in relation to a Christian worldview through film and television activities.Students should be able to dynamically communicate narratives utilizing various aesthetic and technological storytelling tools. Demonstrate through coursework an understanding of historical significance for cinema-television and mass media. Graduation Requirements
 Conferral of a Baccalaureate degree in this program of study is determined by successful completion of the Baccalaureate Graduation Requirements outlined here . NOTE: Students must earn 39 upper level (3000-4000) credit hours in order to graduate. A total of at least 21 of these upper level credit hours must be completed in the selected major. Production Lab Requirement - 12 Credit Hours
 All Cinema Arts majors must enroll in and successfully complete CIN 3002 - Cinema Lab  each semester beginning their Sophomore year. This lab may be repeated for a total of up to 12 credit hours.Additional Required Credit Hours - 15 Credit Hours
 These additional hours may be fulfilled by a minor, second major, general electives taken concurrently, previous coursework taken at PBA or through transfer credits. |
