Applies linear, integer, and nonlinear optimization techniques to maximize or minimize a business objective in the presence of existing constraints. Uses simulation techniques to evaluate the impact of uncertainty on a decision. Emphasizes the process of taking actual business problems and transforming them into formulated models that can be solved using optimization methods.
