COM 4603 - Music and the Art of Communication: A Seminar

This seminar will focus on an exploration of the principles, methods, and functions of music as a part of the art of communication, pointing to its universal value within the Christian Church and the wider public. The course will focus on exploration, critical analysis, and application of sacred, complementary, and historic uses of music and other artifacts of popular culture as part of the building blocks and group dynamics of the community of faith.

Prerequisite: Upper Division standing.
