Examines key theories of human development and learning and their effect on the learning experience. Introduces lesson planning to align instruction with state-adopted standards at the appropriate level of rigor, sequence lessons and concepts to ensure coherence and require prior knowledge, and design of instruction for all students to achieve mastery.
