NUR 3233 - Community Nursing: Theory3 Credit Hour(s) This course provides theories and concepts of community based nursing with an emphasis on health promotion for families and the community across the lifespan. Global and local health issues are critically examined and principles of compassionate, culturally sensitive, holistic, spiritual nursing care are emphasized. The nursing process is used to integrate nursing actions promoting optimal wellness in the community.
Prerequisite: NUR 3013 ; NUR 3343 ; NUR 3223 or RN to BSN admission Corequisite: NUR 3242 Availability:
