FRN 1113 - Elementary French I

Fundamentals of French abilities in speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension with an introduction to the culture of the French-speaking world. This course has been designed for students beginning French or those whose high school background has not fitted them for Elementary II or Intermediate level. Students with previous education of the language or students with demonstrated fluency of the language are not permitted to take this class and may be placed in a higher level language course. The transcript will be requested. Note: A digital textbook is required for this course. The instructor will e-mail the textbook information prior to the beginning of the course. This course will not be approved for transient study.
