PLS 4223 - American Criminal Law: Exploring the Justice System3 Credit Hour(s) Students will be given an advanced survey of the purpose and sources of criminal law in the United States. Students will learn about the elements of a crime, the types of crimes, and common defenses. The students will also explore criminal procedure and the rights of the accused. Criminal sentencing and punishments will be explored, with a special focus on the biblical perspective of justice.
