BUS 3823 - Labor Economics

This course applies microeconomic analysis to create economic models intended to use real-world economic data to illustrate the influence of public policy on the labor market and household decision making. Topics include labor supply and demand, human capital and wage inequality, retirement, the distribution of earnings, discrimination, unemployment, and the consequences of taxes and transfers, unions, and incentive contracts on the labor market.

Prerequisite: BUS 2353, BUS 2343, MAT 1853 or higher (not including MAT 2003)
