BUF 3413 - Introduction to Real Estate Finance and Development3 Credit Hour(s) This course guides students through the fundamental vocabulary, concepts, principles, and analytical methods of real estate investment, and introduces the skills needed to navigate the process, including timelines and steps in real estate investing; establishment of the financial profile required by a lender to obtain appropriate financing; and understanding real estate valuation methods. Students will construct a hypothetical real estate development project from site selection to completion.
