COM 3052 - Speech Performance and Forensics Lab

Offers the opportunity to learn how to plan, practice, perform and/or present a variety of independent and duo speech event styles as well as engage in forensics activity. The lab course may be repeated up to six (6) credit hours, encouraging an increase in proficiency in oral communication and various public discourse activities, as well as developing leadership skills useful in the public sphere. Students will have the opportunity to participate in speech and debate events at competitions / tournaments (locally and nationally).

Prerequisite: Recommendation: Best when taken alongside COM 3013 - Speech Performance and the Oral Tradition ; consult with your advisor for more information.
