                  PHL 3173 - Twentieth-century Philosophy3 Credit Hour(s)   This course studies the history of philosophy of the 20th and 21st centuries. Topics include phenomenology, the rise of analysis, mid-century logical positivism, existentialism, and the revival of metaphysics.  Philosophers include Hannah Arendt, John Dewey, Gottlob Frege, Martin Heidegger, Martha Nussbaum, Alvin Plantinga, Ayn Rand, Bertrand Russell, Jean-Paul Sartre, Roger Scruton, and Ludwig Wittgenstein.
