NUR 4353 - Christian Nurses and Alternative Healing Therapies

This course presents concepts and strategies related to alternative healing therapies. The emphasis is on an approach to wellness which is concerned with the person as a whole across the lifespan and as defined by the patient. Strategies related to integrating holistic methods of care delivery: emotionally, spiritually, physically, and culturally from an ethical/legal Christian Worldview are presented. This course is a guide to prepare nurses to honor and advocate for patients taking control of their well-being.
