HIS 3003 - History Internship

This course offers a specialized, hands-on experience in a professional environment in the work of history. The venue may include a museum, archive, historical society, genealogical society, library e.g., for local history), or some other suitable entity. Other options may include field work, such as an archaeological dig or a project in historic preservation. The specific internship must be approved beforehand by the chair of the history department. Students may take no more than two internships for a maximum of 6 credit hours.
