PLS 4233 - American Government3 Credit Hour(s) This course is an advanced overview of the branches of the American federal government: Congress, the Presidency, and the Supreme Court. It will focus on the constitutional structure, powers, and historical development of each of these institutions. Then, taking each branch in turn, the course will examine the role each branch plays in today’s federal government.
