CIN 1002 - Television Appreciation

An introductory course examining the history and operations of television, cable, and internet streaming services. The technological basis for each outlet, as well as aesthetic considerations, programming and business structures will be explored. Students will learn to apply aesthetic criteria to interpret and evaluate television programming as both an art form and a commercial mass medium.
