EGN 3023 - Engineering Mathematics II3 Credit Hour(s) This course is the second course in the kind of mathematics used in engineering. It will cover complex analysis, which is a basic tool with a great many practical applications to the solution of physical problems. The course revolves around complex analytic functions - functions that have a complex derivative. Also included in the course are probability and statistics which will deal with topics such as probability spaces, conditional probability, independence, combinatorial probability, random variables, expectation, correlation, Central Limit Theorem, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing and applications.
Prerequisite: EGN 3003 with a grade of C- or better Availability: WPB: Fall
