BUS 4001 - Financial Literacy for Business Professionals1 Credit Hour(s) Financial Literacy for Business Professionals is a course that examines personal finance goals upon graduation and career launch. The course will include building skills such as budgeting, personal savings goals, and debt management. Students will learn how to evaluate decisions with regard to insuring life and property, automobile purchasing vs. leasing, and rent vs. buy options. The student will gain knowledge in the essentials of retirement planning and the joy of charitable giving. The student will be exposed to various practical tools for debt-free living, freedom from financial stress, and honoring God with ethical use of resources.
