EDU 4363 - Foundations and Applications of Differentiated Literacy Instruction3 Credit Hour(s) This course examines the developmental skills and concepts of reading, with an emphasis on recognizing and diagnosing reading difficulties. Candidates will learn to prescribe and implement appropriate, research-based methods and materials to improve reading performance across diverse student populations. The course includes practical application through required teaching experience in a local school setting. Each candidate will receive instruction and be assessed on the uniform core curricula in the language arts area during course work and 16 hours of practicum.
Prerequisite: EDU 1013 , EDU 3073 , EDU 9910 , EDU 9990 , EDU 9920 Availability: WPB: Fall
