Our Purpose and Mission
The Catherine T. MacArthur School exists to serve adult learners, providing an opportunity to earn the Master of Science in Leadership degree within Palm Beach Atlantic University’s Christian liberal arts tradition. This program is designed to meet the unique needs of workings adults. Additionally, it provides the opportunity to integrate academic knowledge with personal and professional experience through the development of critical thinking skills and the use of experiential learning. The school promotes the development of management and leadership skills and Christian values through the integration of faith and learning to enable the student to serve more effectively in the workplace, family, community, and multicultural environments. The mission of the MacArthur School is to TEACH with a Christian Spirit, TRANSFORM the lives of adult students, and FOSTER lifelong learning.
Our Vision
The MacArthur School will prepare students intellectually, spiritually, and professionally for local and global leadership. Through the development of leaders who make a positive difference where they serve, the MacArthur School will be the preeminent school of leadership through innovation and academic excellence.
