1. Describe the basic themes and content of the Biblical writings.
2. Identify critical issues regarding the Biblical writings.
3. Articulate genre-specific methods of interpretation.
4. Identify theological categories.
5. Use either Greek or Hebrew in reading a biblical text.
6. Apply exegetical method to the interpretation of a biblical text.
7. Synthesize biblical exegesis into a coherent theological exposition.
8. Relate theological exposition to contemporary issues.
9. Practice spiritual disciplines.
10. Demonstrate academic honesty.
Biblical and Theological Studies Elective Courses - 9 Credit Hours
Select any additional three BIB courses 3000 level or above, except BIB 4153 . BIB 2013 , BIB 2023 , BIB 2033 or BIB 2043 may also count for this elective credit toward the major when taken as the second Biblical language. ICS 3053 may also count for elective credit.
