The focus of this concentration provides students with the knowledge, skills, and character essential for fruitful ministry with adolescents in middle school, high school, and college primarily in two major areas: (1) leadership and organizational skills, and (2) skills that foster the development, nurture, and care of adolescents.
While many students completing this major may pursue graduate or seminary education, many may utilize their training upon graduation to serve in church student ministries, camps, and other parachurch ministries (i.e., Youth for Christ, Young Life, Campus Crusade, etc.).
