Program Learning Outcomes

1. Students demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skill, and perceptual ability required when making and responding to art.

2. Students demonstrate competencies for displaying and marketing commercial and studio art.

General Education Requirements - 41 Credit Hours

Music and Fine Arts majors must meet the Baccalaureate Degree Requirements as set out in the General Education Program .

Fine Arts Requirement: Music and Fine Arts majors fulfill the two-hour Fine Arts elective through major study.

Required Art Core - 20 Credit Hours

NOTE: ART 2813 may be taken as the Global Studies Elective in the General Education Program; in that case, it must be replaced here with a three-hour art course.

Graphic Design Major Courses - 29 Credit Hours

Elective Courses in Graphic Design - 12 Credit Hours

Choose four from the list below. If ART 2813 is used as the Global Studies elective, choose a fifth class from the list below to replace it.
