HHP 3433 - Parks and Tourism Marketing3 Credit Hour(s) This course offers a board introduction to the basic concepts of marketing in the areas of parks, recreation and tourism. Special emphasis will be placed on the following areas: the marketing concepts, the marketing mix, consumer behavior, market segmentation, positioning, strategic planning and the development of a comprehensive marketing plan. One of the main objectives of this course is to develop fundamental skills of marketing analysis and managerial decision making.
