Program Learning Outcomes

- Internship: All Health and Human Performance majors will successfully complete an internship outside or inside of PBA in their chosen field.
- Students will demonstrate proficiency in assessing the components of health related fitness.
- Improved facilities and equipment for experiential learning - continuous improvement in the Health and Human Performance Lab to enhance the Exercise Science student’s hands-on experiential learning, technical skills in the lab setting and technology related experiences.
General Education Requirements - 43 Credit Hours
Exercise Science majors must complete the Baccalaureate Degree Requirements (Bachelor’s Degrees) as set out in the General Education Program with these exceptions:
Required HHP/ATR Courses - 42 Credit Hours
Required Biology Courses - 12 Credit Hours
Required Math Courses - 3 Credit Hours
Required Chemistry Courses - 4 Credit Hours
Required Physics Courses - 4 Credit Hours
Select Two Electives from the following courses - 6-7 Credit Hours
Note:
Six additional credit hours are required to meet the 120 total and/or the 42 upper level credit hour requirements.
